Check-in for flight

All passengers without exception (whether or not having an electronic ticket) must check-in before their flight and receive a boarding pass.
Available types of check-in:
•    On-line check-in;
•    Mobile check-in;
•    Self-service check-in kiosk;
•    At the chick-in counters in the terminal.
In some directions on-line check-in may not be available.
Please obtain more specific information on the availability of on-line, mobile check-in or self-service check-in kiosk on websites of Airlines or in Airport Information Service.

For check-in you will need the following documents:
1. Your ticket (if Air carriage contract is executed on a pre-printed standard form);
2. Passport or other identity papers legislatively prescribed;
3. For international flights a passenger must have travel and other documents issued in accordance with the established procedures of that country in/from/through which territory the transportation will be carried out.
4. If a passenger presents a document different from indicated in the ticket or the document number is absent in the ticket, the changes are made before the passenger’s check-in.
5. Veterinary certificate (if you are carrying animals or birds).
6. The authorization (from one or both parents) and the notarized permit to carry a child abroad (if a child is carried and escorted by his/her relatives or other people).
7. Certificate for the right to bear arm (if you carry weapons).

Check-in for domestic flights:
Opening times of passenger and baggage check-in depend on the aircraft type.
Check-in opens 2 hours before departure for the following types of aircraft (Tupolev Tu-204, Tupolev Tu-214, Tupolev Tu-154M, Boing 757, Аirbus-319, Аirbus-320, Аirbus-321, RRJ-95B and its modification, Ilyushin Il-76);
Check-in opens 1 hour 30 minutes before departure for the following types of aircraft (Boing 737, MD-82/83, Ilyushin Il-18, Antonov An-30, ERJ-190/195, Tupolev Tu-134, ATR -72, Yakovlev Yak-42, Antonov An-30, Antonov An-32, Antonov An-74, Antonov An-148, helicopters of all types);
Check-in opens 1 hour before departure for the following types of aircraft (SAAB-2000, CRJ-100/200, EMB-120, ATR-42, Yakovlev Yak-40, Antonov An-2, Antonov An-12, Antonov An-24, Antonov An-26, L-410, Cessna caravan, “Gulfstream IV,V, SP”).
Check-in closing time: generally no later than 40 minutes before departure.
Departure time is local in your ticket.

Check-in for international flights:
Check-in opens 3 hours before departure for the following types of aircraft (Tupolev Tu-204, Tupolev Tu-214, Tupolev Tu-154M, Boing 537-400, Boing 537-800, Boing 737-900, Boing 757, Аirbus-320, Аirbus-321, McDonnell Douglas MD-82/83);
Check-in opens 2 hours 30 minutes before departure for the following types of aircraft (Аirbus-319, Аirbus-320, Boing 737-300, Boing 737-400, Boing 737-500, Yakovlev Yak-42, ATR-42, ATR-72, CRJ-200).
Check-in closing time: generally, no later than 40 minutes before departure.
Departure time is local in your ticket.

The carrier has the right to refrain from providing the services:
• If it is necessary for safety and health of passengers;
• to prevent violations of the relevant laws, resolutions, rules and orders of public authorities of any country, onto the territory, from the territory or through the territory of which the transportation will be carried out;
• in the case of a passenger’s refusal to comply with the requirements of rules, instructions of a carrier;
• in the case of a passenger’s disease if his/her health status is a danger to himself/herself or other passengers;
• when the passenger has improperly executed documents;
• in case of a passenger’s refusal to pass preflight controls.
And also:
• to people who can create a danger or do harm to other people or their property;
• to a passenger being under the influence of alcohol or drug;
• to a passenger who violates the established rules for the use of air transport.

Passengers with children:
1. The passenger has the right to carry one infant (a child aged up to 2 years) free of charge without providing an individual place. Other infants (children aged up to 2 years) following with this passenger are carried with providing individual places on board an aircraft (the rate of a discount is determined by airlines).
2. The age of a child is determined on the day of transportation.
3. Children at the ages from 2 to 12 years are carried only accompanied by an adult passenger.
4. Many carriers offer an additional (paid) service: carriage of children without adults.

Carriage of unaccompanied minors
Requirements for carriage:
•    prior consent of a carrier to transport an unaccompanied child;
•    confirmed reservation on the route (the number of unaccompanied children for a flight is limited);
•    the payment of a child transportation in accordance with valid guidelines and tariffs of a carrier;
•    the lawful representative must show the identity document and also the document confirming the rights to be a lawful representative for a minor (birth certificate, certificate of adoption, the document confirming guardianship or trusteeship);
•    accompanying people must stay with the child at the airport of departure before boarding;
•    a child must be met at destination airport.

Accompaniment services
1. The execution of accompaniment service is obligatory for children at the ages from 5 to 12 years.
2. Only lawful representatives (parents, adopters, guardians or trustees) of a child can execute accompaniment service.
3. The children aged from 5 to 12 years (at the request of parents, adopters, guardians or trustees) are carried without parents under observation of the operator representative. Also the accompaniment service can be provided to children under 16 (who are capable) on the request of parents, adopters, guardians or trustees.
4. The carriage of an unaccompanied minor is paid at 100% of the applicable tariff.
5. The check-in of an unaccompanied minor is carried out by the representative of an air company or the operator only at the check-in desks in the terminal.
