Pets transportation procedure

• Importing pets from abroad: each passenger has the right to transport no more than two pets at a time in the presence of international certificates confirming that pets are clinically healthy and have rabies vaccination. The vaccination should be done in the period from 12 months to 30 days before departure. When entering the country, international documents are exchanged for a veterinary certificate of the Russian Federation.
• Taking pets abroad: a pet owner must show an animal health certificate, issued 3 days before departure which proved that a pet is clinically healthy and has rabies vaccination. This certificate will be exchanged for an international veterinary certificate by a vet and boarding pass will be given.
• Within Russian Federation: pets are transported in the presence of a veterinary certificate of the Russian Federation issued three days before departure. In the airport a vet will give a boarding pass for a pet.
